You should start your journey in Wałcz where in the Eastern outskirts of this settlement one can find ruins of thirteen bunkers. Their role here was to protect the road leading to neighboring city of Piła. North of Wałcz, in a little village named Zdbice, Germans have build an antitank barrier which has been a part of an open-air museum telling the region’s story. Have enough? Not yet? Well… in this case you should drive South-Westwards to the village of Strzeliny to see even more impressive bunkers which remember the sound of combat.
