Get enchanted by the beautiful lakes like Jezioro Czarne (Black Lake) which is one of Poland’s three meromictic lakes – such where water layers do not mix with each. Neither should you miss Ostrowieckie Lake where you will find the Grey Heron Island. The island's nature reserve aim is to protect grey heron population and the nearby sea eagle’s nests. Take your chance and maybe you will see those beautiful and rare birds!

Take your binoculars with you and give yourself a chance to look for more than 130 different bird species! Among them one can find sea eagles, ospreys, lesser spotted eagles, eagle owls, golden eyes, goosanders, grey wagtails, dippers, kingfishers, crakes and impressive black storks. Do you prefer to look down? Over 50 mammal species are waiting to be discovered! Red deers, roe deers, beavers, otters, raccoon dogs, raccoons, minks and wolfs are there! You just have to be patient...

Drawieński National Park is waiting to be discovered. Choose you path and decide which hiking trail or horse lead you are most interested in and let yourself sense the nature! Why not rent a canoe and paddle on the Drawa flood? You are up for it! Trust us! The whole journey is 41 km long with rest stops every 2-6km.

Taking about recreation, how about fishing in two nearby lakes – Sitno and Ostrowiec? An accurate map and a fishing license can be bought in Drawno and Głusk. Good luck!

How do you get to the Drawieński National Park? It's as easy as pie: take the plane to Szczecin, Poznań or Berlin and rent a car at the airport. You can, of course, take your own car and travel with the ferry to the continent. Book accommodation directly in the nearby city of Szczecin. Don't forget to take care of your travel insurance!
