Stańczyki is a little village (only 35 people) in the North-Eastern part of Poland. However many visit that idle place to see... the highest viaducts in Poland. There are two of them and they both resemble ancient aqueducts with their pillars and decorative steel construction. They are 36 meter high and 200 meter long.

These viaducts are the resting parts of the old railroad combining in the past the villages Gołdap and Żytkiejmy. The link was 31 kilometres long. The railway has been closed 1945 but the viaducts are still in good shape. That is why they attract many people who seek a real adventure. If you're one of them, don't forget to arrive here fully equipped. The bridges are generally easily available (during low season they are free of charge) but in the summertime be prepared to pay parking- and entry fee.

The jump may look like this:

Please pay attention that jumping here is done only at own risk. One has got to be well trained and prepared to perform the jump in an appropriate way. Any mistakes may lead to serious troubles.

So if you long for that burst of adrenaline and are experienced in bungeejumping, Stańczyki with its viaducts are tailored for you!
